DRDC Procures Spiri C-UAS and ISR System for Testing

Defence Research & Development Canada  (DRDC) has signed a contract with Spiri Robotics worth $1.2 million to test counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) and intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance (ISR) drones in connection with Spiri’s Autonomous Robotic Cell (ARC) program. ARC is a movable, self-contained command and control hub that supports drone missions. Spiri-made drone swarms fan out from the ARC. They  act with a high degree of autonomy supporting operations within their range without imposing a heavy task load on the operators.
